Mute swans

The family of mute swans in Kaisaniemi 11.3.2014.
I saw them again this week and I only saw
one of the cygnets with the parents.

I'm linking to I'd Rather B Birdin'.

  1. I'll bet those cygnets are ready to leave home Gunilla. Can't stay with mom and dad for ever!

    1. Thank you Phil! I think you're right. It's getting easier to move on as the ice is melting.

  9. Dearest Gunilla;
    Wow, such beautiful, elegant pictures of swans♡♡♡

    Every time I saw swans, I start having nostalgic feeling for them. We had 400~500 hundred of them in our city park. They were killed because of bird flue.
    I reminisce the time feeding them when young with my parents(^^;)

    Sending you Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
